Kunsthalle Ålesund

A municipal gallery for the Fenwick Arts Trust on a harbourside site, replacing a disused net store. Three top-lit exhibition halls stacked around a concrete stair core, sized to take work the trust's current building cannot — large sculpture, travelling shows, a permanent room for the town's own collection.
